There are many tattoo enthusiasts who want to express their darker attributes in their choice of body art which may explain why there are so many interesting designs for evil tattoos. Before we look at some of these in more detail, let us consider why anyone would choose such a design in the first place.
Many of these are chosen in a tongue in cheek manner, while others opt for them because they want a tattoo that will make a frightening impression however some select them because they have an interest in such things. Whether the individual has some darker attributes that they want to show off or are simply interested in the more sinister side of life in general, many of these designs are actually visually stunning works of art despite the dark nature of the images used.
Those individuals who choose evil tattoos to represent their dark humor may opt to have the image illustrated in a cartoon style to lighten up the popular demons, devils, skeletons, werewolves and vampires which are widely requested for this kind of body art. Others truly want their tattoo to scare those who set eyes upon it so they may opt for a more gothic or gory style to theirs, such as angry looking ghouls and frightening phantoms, killer clowns and deadly demons, not forgetting Lucifer himself. There are some incredibly realistic versions of this particular evil image some of which show the face and horns in intricate details and others that depict him in full with wings and horns. Thanks to the skill and artistic talent involved, some of these are actually very frightening but strangely beautiful at the same time.
These work best as medium to large tattoos so they can be displayed in their full elaborate glory, on a body part that provides ample skin on which to do the design justice.
There are other designs available for evil tattoos which depict a menacing interaction between the wearer and their chosen image which are also very impressive. These include such designs as a demon appearing to tear its way out of the wearer’s skin, a vampire with its fangs appearing to sink into the individual’s neck, an ominous raven perched upon the shoulder or even bat wings tattooed on the back that seem to emanate from the shoulder blades. Alternatively the word evil tattooed on the skin in a large bold gothic-style font is another option and these can also be customized by combining other images of a similar theme. For example one could have devil’s horns emerging from the top of the letters, bat wings coming out either end or the letter ‘I’ transformed into a pitchfork.
